Open Position For Civil Service Commissioner

Keizer Fire District is looking for a member of the community to serve on its Civil Service Commission. This position is to fill the remainder of a vacancy that ends on May 17th, 2026. The commission oversees Keizer Fire Districts civil service system that ensures a fair and uniform system of hiring and promoting employees.

The commission meets annually with one or two special meetings throughout the year. This is a non-paid position.

We are looking for a candidate that is a resident of the fire district and has a commitment to ensuring that the fire district provides equal opportunity to qualified candidates in all aspects of employment.
