The Keizer Fire District has been protecting our community since being organized in 1948. We also serve Keizer by providing public safety education, community service, and safety inspections.

Keizer Fire District is a full-service fire, rescue and EMS agency with a force of 52 career employees, 11 volunteer firefighters, and 5 elected Board of Directors who serve the District’s 42,000 citizens from one centrally located fire station. Keizer Fire District ran 6,858 emergency calls in 2023.

The District’s mission is to protect lives, property, and the environment through quality emergency response and community involvement. The mission will be achieved by career and volunteer professionals committed to excellence and dedicated to service in fire prevention, emergency medical services, fire suppression, hazardous materials and natural disaster response.
