Station 350’s Apparatus Inventory
The Foundation of Our Response
The Keizer Fire District has come a long way since 1948, when our original crew operated with a single pumper out of a makeshift shed. Today, our operations are centralized at Station 350 a modern, multipurpose facility designed to support a high-volume rescue agency.
This page details the evolution of our facilities and the specialized apparatus that allow our crews to protect 42,000 citizens across 10 square miles. From our historical roots to the advanced emergency vehicles we maintain today, this is the equipment and infrastructure that makes our mission possible.

Station 350
Located in downtown Keizer near the intersection of River Rd N and Chemawa Rd NE, Station 350 has served as our headquarters since its completion in February 1997.
A Legacy of Growth In the beginning, the Keizer Fire District was organized on May 4, 1948, with equipment consisting of a single 1948 Ford 500-gallon pumper housed under a lean-to shed at the Keizer Food Lockers. By April 1949, the first dedicated station was completed at our current location. Originally built to house three pieces of equipment, the station featured a large multi-purpose room and kitchen for use by the Firefighters and various community groups.
As the district grew, the facility evolved. The station was first remodeled in 1961 to enlarge the apparatus bay and again in 1970 to add new offices and kitchen facilities. In 1996, the original building was demolished to make way for the modern facility we occupy today.
Modern Operations Today’s Station 350 is designed to support a high-volume professional force. The facility houses fire and medical apparatus alongside modern offices, sleeping quarters, an exercise room, training facilities, and a multi-purpose community room.
