About Us

Welcome to Keizer Rural Fire Protection District (KFD).

The Keizer Fire District is a special service district in Marion County, Oregon, protecting 42,000 citizens across a 10 square mile jurisdiction. We operate from a single, centrally located fire station, governed by five publicly elected officials.

To manage over 7,000 annual emergency calls, we maintain a highly trained crew of 52 career employees, 11 volunteer firefighters. This unified group provides full-service fire suppression, advanced life support (EMS), and proactive community safety programs.

Below are the Core Services, Mission, and Vision that guide our daily operations and our commitment to the City of Keizer.
