Community Involvement & Outreach Programs
Our Commitment Goes Beyond Emergencies
While our first priority is always responding to emergencies, our role in supporting our citizens doesn’t stop when the fire is out or the patient is transported. As a family of firefighters, administrative staff, and support personnel, we believe in having a positive impact on the community we serve in every way possible.
How We’re Involved
We conduct fire code inspections for:
Daily Community Needs
- Rescue of children or pets locked in vehicles
- Assisting police with lost child searches
- Responding to numerous other community needs, day or night
M.D.A. 'Fill-The-Boot' Drive
In partnership with the IAFF, we proudly collect donations for the annual Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) drive, helping fund critical research and support for families.
Fire Explorer Program
A program designed for youths aged 14-21 to learn about the fire service, develop valuable life skills, and become more responsible citizens.
Community Risk Reduction (CRR)
Keizer Fire District is committed to the Community Risk Reduction initiative. This focuses on proactively safeguarding the residents within our district while also prioritizing the well-being of our fire and medical service personnel through education and prevention.
